Youth Fencing Classes: Rolling Admission
Youth Beginner Instructor: Fritz Chang Class Times:
Class Description: This class caters to first time fencers and fencers with less than a year of experience. The goal is to introduce and reinforce fencing fundamentals such as footwork (advance, retreat, lunge), blade work, (attack, parry, riposte), and bouting. Youth Intermediate Class Instructor: Fritz Chang Class Times:
Class Description: This class caters to fencers with 1-2 years of fencing experience. The goal is to improve and develop confidence around the fencing fundamentals such as footwork (advance, retreat, lunge), bladework, (attack, parry, riposte, disengages), and bouting. Youth Advanced/Competitive Instructor: Fritz Chang Class Times:
Class Description: The class caters to fencers with at least 2 years of fencing experience. The goal is to refine the fencing fundamentals, instruct on more advanced tactics such as invitation attacks, second intention, etc., and improve physical agility and hand/eye coordination. This class will also prepare fencers for competition for those that interested in competing. Minimum 2+ years for fencing experience or Instructor approval. Open Fencing Class Times: Tuesdays 8:00 – 9:15 pm, Wednesdays (7:30 – 9:15 pm By appointment only.), Thursdays 8:30 – 9:15 pm Youth Fencing: Tournaments Class Times: Fridays (6:00– 8:30 pm) In-house tournaments will be held on the 3rd Friday of every month. |
